FAQ

What is your protocol in the event of injury or emergency?

Cindy will contact the parent in the event of a serious medical emergency. If the parent can’t be reached she will call 911 for assistance. All other non-medical emergencies will be addressed and noted for parent at pick up. Cindy will contact the emergency contact listed if a decision needs to be made about care or treatment in the event the parent is not available.

What is your sick policy?

As the seasons change, we can all expect colds and viruses. Children with a fever, rash, pink eye, diarrhea, severe cough or vomiting should not be sent to their scheduled session. If your pediatrician has diagnosed your child with a condition that requires medication (i.e. flu, pink eye, strep, etc.) please allow 48 hours (on medication) before returning your child to Playtime with Cindy.  Your child's health is important to us and we try to limit exposure to anything that could be passed on and brought home.

Can my child make up a missed session?

Do to our small class size, we do not offer make up sessions. However, in the event that Cindy cancels a session, all children registered for the day will be provided a make up day. The make up day will be discussed with parent and approved by Cindy. Children on the Pay as You Go option will not be allowed make ups. There are NO REFUNDS.

What is the best way to contact you?

Parents are welcome to use email, phone or text to contact Cindy. During sessions the best way to contact Cindy is via text unless it’s an emergency please call. On most occasions, Cindy will text you a picture and brief report of your child’s day.

Do you offer discounts if I refer a friend?

Yes! For every friend you refer that registers their child, you will receive 1/2 off a NEW session.

Offer is valid for up to 4 newly registered children which means you can get 2 FREE sessions

What happens if I’m late?

As a mom Cindy understands that things happen! However, we can’t make up lost time. If you arrived late, you will have to pick up your child at the end of session as scheduled. By law Cindy can not stay with children for more than 3 hours so please arrive on time.

Are you open when Trumbull schools are closed?

Holidays and/or closings will be announced monthly. If for any reason Cindy cancels a session, everyone registered for that session will be allowed to make up the day at no charge. Snow or delayed openings will be treated on a case by case basis and a message regarding opening will be posted on Facebook and parents will receive a text message by 8am.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payments via PayPal, Venmo and Zelle. Cash is also accepted when signing up in advance. Please note that once payment is received there are NO REFUNDS or CREDITS.
